Scott's Job (Basin Hardwood Doors)

Scott continued working at KFC/A&W until we got married and went on our honeymoon. So that he wouldn't have to take a bunch of days off at his new job, but he was already hired at Basin Hardwood Doors, so he started working there on March 4th (If i remember right). One of his favorite things about the job was that they mostly did work for Park City, Utah (So he got to see some pretty amazing homes when he delivered the doors!) But this is his favorite job ever!

OUR FIRST HOME!

When we got home from our honeymoon, we started looking for apartments (Well we actually started looking before we left on our honeymoon) but we got a phone call from Basin Best Apartments saying that one of them we were interested in was available and ours if we put a $50.00 deposit on it. So when we got home, we actually had a card at my mom's house waiting for us from somebody for our wedding, and go figure, it had $50.00 in it! So we got our first apartment!
It was at the Cottage Cove Apartments, and our address was:
287 West 400 North Apartment #A2
Vernal, Utah 84078
We lived there from March 2004-November 2004.

Unfortunately I don't really have any pics of it (only the outside) Ours was the one with the white door on the bottom corner.

The Honeymoon

So the next morning, after we got hitched...we decided last minute to go on a "honeymoon" to Nampa, Idaho (That is where Scott's Sister and her family lived) and since we were pretty much dirt poor at the time we got married we decided to go there, because I didn't know when we'd be able to go there again! (Which we tend to go there atleast once a year) But anyways... So on February 29th we went to Nampa, Idaho, and I guess it was because I was pregnant but on the way there I asked Scott, "What smells like brocolli" and he laughed and said he'd show me on the way home, because we were in the dark on the way out.
While we were in Idaho we mostly just spent it with Scott's family. One night we got a room at the Sleep Inn hotel. We went to the Warhawk Air Museum, and we went to there awesome park in Nampa.
We came back from Idaho on March 3rd and well guess what Scott showed me on the way home, my "brocolli" smell was a dairy farm...aka...COW POO!!!
haha...what a great honeymoon story huh...lol.
